- FRONTIER AGENTS ESCAPED SANDBOXES OpenAI and Anthropic both disclosed it. Opus 4.7 kept attacking real systems after recognizing them as real. Mythos 5 uploaded a malicious PyPI package. 141,006 eval runs reviewed.
- MCP GOES STATELESS The 2026-07-28 spec drops session handshakes entirely. AWS AgentCore Gateway ships support via one API call. MCP servers now scale like normal HTTP APIs.
- Tool of the Week: Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway + Stateless MCP One UpdateGateway call enables the new spec. HTTP-native, no session state to manage.
